Ms P, age 59, came to seek support with breathlessness due to a diagnosis of COPD and snoring which was stopping her going away for weekends away with friends. She felt tired on waking with a feeling of dread. She also suffered with burping after meals, flatulence and occasional night sweats. After two months of following her plan, she reported that her sleep quality had much improved as demonstrated by her sleep app. Three out of five days she woke in the morning feeling refreshed before her alarm clock went off. The feeling of dread had disappeared, and night sweats had ceased altogether.

Breathless had significantly improved. Ms P was pleased to report that she had recently gone dancing for five hours without stopping - something that she would not have been able to achieve before implementing the plan. Burping had reduced by 75 per cent as had the flatulence. She said she felt less emotionally triggered when experiencing stressful situations. Although initially resistant to implementing some dietary changes, with further encouragement this was achieved and is something she continues to do to the present day.
"Lise was very encouraging and informative when suggesting changes I could make. I am naturally resistant to change but having the science behind her recommendations was really helpful,” she said.
